Average gas prices across Virginia dropped slightly for the third week in a row as the average price is down by four cents to $3.42 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is down by five cents to $3.60 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville dropped by four cents for the second week in a row to $3.29, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is down by two cents to $3.34 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price is up by four cents to $3.30 and in Henry County the average price is down by a penny $3.31. Prices in Halifax County rose by one cent to $3.42 a gallon.
