Average gas prices across Virginia dropped slightly for the fourth week in a row as the average price is down by three cents to $3.39 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is down by a penny to $3.59 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville dropped by a nickel to $3.24, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is down by a penny to $3.33 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price is down by two cents to $3.28 and in Henry County the average price is down by a penny for the second week in a row $3.30. Prices in Halifax County are down by four cents $3.38 a gallon.
