Josh had the opportunity to sit down with Rachel Covington and Austin Bunn and discuss Leadership Southside. A program offered by the Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce to help develop leadership skills and other skills to deal with conflict resolution, networking, and other avenues for individuals to evolve their leadership journey.
(born April 16, 1965 in South Boston, Virginia) is a former professional American football player. A 6'6", 248-lb. tight end from the University of Maryland, Edmunds was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 1988 NFL Draft. He played for 7 NFL seasons from 1988 to 1994 for the Dolphins and the Seattle Seahawks and was a two-time Pro Bowl selection in 1989 and 1990. Edmunds graduated from George Washington High School (Danville, Virginia), located in Danville, Virginia in 1983.
Edmunds currently coaches the varsity football program at Dan River High School in Ringgold, Virginia. His three sons Trey, Terrell and Tremaine all currently play in the NFL. Tremaine plays for the Buffalo Bills.[1][2] Trey and Terrell both currently play for the Pittsburgh Steelers.[3]
